I had very pleasant experience at this centre. This is by far the best childcare centre I’ve experienced for both of my sons. The level of care, communication, and professionalism is outstanding. The daily diary entries are always so thorough, keeping me well informed and providing great insight into what my son is learning and experiencing. My daughter has been going to young academics in Yagoona for over a year now and I’ve always found the staff kind, caring and attentive. They have regularly reached out to discuss what learning goals I would like my child to work towards and they were a great help particularly when my child was toilet training. My child has been attending YA Yagoona since September 24. We love the facilities and the educators are great. There have been a few changes over the past year but we are glad to say our child has been well taken care of in the nursery. A big thank you to all the nursery educators who have taken care of our child so far, especially the current ladies. The activities planned daily keep our child entertained and are very educational. We've noticed that the children learn so much from the educators and cannot be thankful enough for all the effort they put in day to day.The centre manager Maddi is easy to talk to and takes all concerns seriously. A big thanks to the YA team at Yagoona.

My son Adam has a hard time settling in and starting his day without me. The team were amazing and so patient. When it came to toilet training, they must of made it fun because he was regressing at home and suddenly was doing it like a champ. Madison has been amazing through the whole transition from toddler room to preschool and has always been very transparent with everything going on and any changes in the centre which I believe is very important to parents. I have enjoyed working along with the team at YAELC-Yagoona in meeting Adams milestones, building relations with them and watching Adams confidence and comfort boost every week. Another thing that sticks out is they always keep a clean and tidy entry with communication between the team and parents so I highly recommend this centre.

I highly recommend this place. The staff are so professional. The educators are so helpful and friendly. They always take my concerns in their consideration. My daughter’s favorite teacher Ms.Tara is in the toddler room. She is more than amazing.

I can't say enough good things about Young Academics Yagoona ! As a parent, leaving my little one in someone else's care was a big deal, but the staff here specially the director Madison made the transition so smooth. My toddler, Aryana, absolutely loves going to "school" every day. The teachers are warm, caring, and genuinely invested in each child's development.The center itself is clean, safe, and filled with engaging activities. I'm always impressed by the creative projects Aryana brings home and how much they're learning. Maddi is the Centre Manager at Yagoona, bringing 13 years of experience in early childhood education. Starting as a trainee, she has progressed through the sector, completing her Certificate III, Diploma, and additional certifications, building a strong foundation in care and leadership.
As both an educator and a mother, Maddi is passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children feel a true sense of belonging. She values strong relationships with children, families, and educators, fostering an inclusive and supportive centre culture.
Her leadership focuses on collaboration, positivity, and continuous learning, ensuring both children and educators are supported to grow and thrive.

Children engage in hands-on learning, structured activities and exploration, supported by the Evolution Program for under 3s and Transition to School Program for preschool-aged children.
Young Academics Yagoona works closely with the Australian Government’s Child Care Subsidy (CCS) to help families access financial support and make quality childcare in Yagoona more affordable. Our team is here to guide you through the CCS application process, ensuring you understand your eligibility and receive the maximum subsidy available.
Yagoona makes learning meaningful by tailoring experiences to each child’s needs, interests and developmental stage. Educators use play-based learning, hands-on activities and structured experiences to foster curiosity, creativity and confidence.
Yagoona creates a welcoming first-day experience through a home-style environment, caring educators and engaging learning spaces that help children feel comfortable, supported and ready to explore.

At Young Academics Yagoona, your child’s safety and wellbeing are our top priority. We follow the NSW Child Safe Standards and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child to ensure every child learns in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment. All educators hold a current Working With Children Check, complete mandatory Child Protection training, and are supported by our dedicated Child Safety Ambassador. Our secure centre environments, risk management strategies, and clear policies help protect children while supporting their independence and growth.
