The staff were so friendly and I could just feel that they really cared about the families attending their centre… there was also two other staff members that I knew used to work in another centre and I was extremely sad when they left as they were amazing with my children so it was nice to see them again and it also shows that you don’t just hire anyone, you look for a team that are dedicated to there career in child care.

My three-year-old has been attending junior preschool. The teachers are helpful, empathetic, and amiable. The fee system is easy to understand. The school provides a wide array of resources, and the atmosphere is one that children find enjoyable and want to be in. Furthermore, the staff is very cooperative. Fresh meals are provided everday. highly recommend it.

Cannot speak more highly about this centre. They have been wonderful in making my sons experience a great one!Educators are super helpful & genuine, the facility is clean & welcoming. I would like to say thankyou to all the teachers espically the teachers in the preschool room, miss Leah, miss Tahnee, miss Angie, mr aj, Mr dimi. They have done such a great job with my son and allowing his personality to shine and grow his confidence in all his learning aspects. He has formed some good bonds with the teachers and his peers, its really good to see. The centre has come such along way from when we first started almost 4 years ago and the new equipment that has been installed in the yards are amazing. Miss Alison the centre manager has made some really good changes in the time she has come aboard and has done a great job at bringing the centre to where it is 😊 my little one enjoys coming to daycare and seeing all his teachers and friends and building on his bonds he has made.

My daughter started at YA Cranebrook in June and is absolutely loving it. We feel very welcomed as a family. The educators are attentive and genuinely care about each child. My daughter doesn’t hesitate or cry when arriving in the morning which is a big change for us. The sessions/activities planned for the kids are creative and educative. My daughter rants about what she has learnt every day. Highly recommend YA cranebrook

I've been apart of Cranebrook YA from the start and it's been a tough few years with staff changes and COVID. I am however immensely happy with the current staff members and programs being implemented with the school. I'm so happy with how the team interact with us as a family and in the kids. It's been great seeing the enthusiasm and care the staff have now with the support they have been given and needed from the start. Im looking forward to their growth as educators and the coming programs for our kids development

Both my son and daughter love going to Young Academics in Cranebrook. My family have been a part of Young Academics Cranebrook since early 2019 and I have to say I have never been happier than I am right now!Over the last few months, YA Cranebrook has absolutely come leaps and bounds in every single facet.We now have an amazingly dedicated and passionate team of educators who are going the extra mile to ensure YA is a place where our little ones feel happy, safe, loved and wanting to go back every single day.I soley attribute this to the change in management and introduction of the new Centre Manager, Alison, 2IC Elise and Education Leader Dimi. Together this team have done a complete 180 on the centre in such a small amount of time and I can't wait to see how far it goes in the future.You can clearly see the passion and commitment when our Education leader comes in on his own weekend time, taking time away from his own family, to decorate the centre for NAIDOC week, honestly 20/10!Special mention to the Toddler and Preschool team aswell- everyone has played such an integral part in these changes and we are so grateful for you all 👌Definitely consider this centre for your little ones, you won't be disappointed!

It has been a challenging year with staff change overs but I now can honestly say I absolutely love the centre and the educators!! They have established a caring and loving environment! I love how they educate the children about so many cultures.They are always willing to help anyway they can! I don’t feel like just a number with them! Most of the educators are like family to us! Well done team what an amazing turnaround you have done!

My 2 year old son has been attending YA Cranebrook for just over a year now and I am so happy with the current management and staff at the centre. My son is always so happy on pick up and is learning so many new things. I am always content going to work knowing my son is being cared for and acknowledged. i would highly recommend this centre to anyone.

Wholeheartedly could not recommend Young Academics in cranebrook any higher. My daughter Lennon started daycare at 6 months old with a different centre. She changed centres so many times before the age of 1 because we just couldn’t settle her in somewhere that we felt could be truly trusted. Lennon started with YA in cranebrook at 1.5 years old - she is now 3. We absolutely adore the team and feel so safe and secure knowing that these beautiful educators are the ones to help Lennon flourish in her education. There was a high turn over in staff at first, but the changes that the centre have made over the past year have been truly incredible. Alison is an amazing centre director, Mr Dimi is one of the most amazing educators I have ever met in my life, and every single teacher in Lennon’s room are mind-blowingly caring and switched on to the children’s needs. Miss Ashlin and Miss Jo love my daughter like their own, Miss Elise (the centre assistant manager) treats the children like gold.. I just could go for hours. Over the past few months this centre has come leaps and bounds and I sincerely hope that anyone who is considering putting their child here goes ahead with that choice. Thank you Cranebrook team, you all feel part of a family to us and we are endlessly grateful for the love and care you show to our sweetheart every single day. Handing your child to educators can be hard, you are handing your entire heart over to them each day - and YA in cranebrook have proven that they don’t take this lightly and that they protect your little heart like their own. I would like to say a big thanks to all YA Cranebrook educators and staff members for making my son’s daycare experience so awesome!Starting from educators Miss Jo, Miss Christina, Miss Maria, Miss Alana, Miss Yasmin and managers Miss Alison, Mr Dmitri and all other staff members are so welcome, friendly, caring and professional.They not only create new development and fun activities every day for kids but also give them personal touch and warmth. Which I really appreciate, as our kids enjoys them a lot. I see my son is always happy and have a good time at daycare.In addition to the above, YA Cranebrook has a good facilities with a lot of different toys for different age groups, good kitchen to cook nutritious food and the best part is the big playground.

I've had my daughter in there for 3 months now, she has built so much confidence with her talking and interacting with other children and adults. Personally we haven't had any issues and I find all the staff that work there to be friendly, helpful and supportive. They have helped make the transition for her and myself a smooth as possible. Just like any childcare, she has gotten sick on multiple occasions but that is to be expected with any childcare. The staff turn over has been high since she started but hasn't seemed to impact her as she interacts with teachers in both nursery 1 & 2. If anything thing I think in the short amount of time she has been there, it has helped her process and learn to cope with change.Personally I would highly recommend as our experience has been nothing but good since she has started.

We’ve had our 16 month old enrolled for about a month, month and a half now and our experience has been fantastic. The centre staff are so good with her and really responsive to any questions or queries that we’ve had. She’s also been quite clingy as a baby and the first few days at care were rough because of this, but we’re so glad we stuck with it. She’s made such gorgeous bonds with both the educators in her room and even those she sees at the door at drop off. We’re updated via the app throughout the day of what activities she’s done and how she’s doing that day and the facilities are great - we particularly love the outside area (so does she!). Couldn’t recommend YA Cranebrook more, we love it!

- CENTRE MANAGER
Teneale leads Cranebrook with a genuine passion for early childhood education, inspired by her love of learning and strengthened through her own experience as a parent. With 10 years in the sector, she has grown within the centre from educator to Centre Manager, bringing deep connection and continuity to the community. Teneale holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and is currently completing her Graduate Diploma. She is committed to creating a “home away from home,” building strong family partnerships, and empowering educators. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor living with her family, including camping, fishing, and life on acreage with animals.

All educators hold a current Working With Children Check and complete mandatory Child Protection training.
