The Ponds Childcare Centre
Located in a lovely residential area close to local schools and Rouse Hill Shopping Centre, The Ponds Early Learning Centre offers diverse learning experiences and nurturing care for children from six weeks to six years old.
Designed to cater for the unique needs, interests and abilities of every individual child, the centre’s passionate educators balance planned learning experiences with time for unhurried, uninterrupted play and learning.
In the light-filled indoor learning environment, a wide range of resources and equipment provides a safe, stimulating space for learning across a range of learning areas dedicated to experiences including art, music, dramatic play, science, numeracy and literacy.
Boasting plenty of space to stretch their wings and engage in imaginative play, exploration and problem-solving, the outdoor learning environment includes a sandpit, bike track and garden area where children can interact with their peers, enhance their gross motor skills and coordination, and discover nature.
On Fridays, children take part in MasterChef cooking experiences, which teaches them about healthy eating, while our in-house cook prepares five nutritious meals for them to enjoy with their peers and educators daily.
Children up to age three take part in our signature Evolution Program, while those between three and five progress to our Transition to School Program.
Bed linen, nappies and wipes are all supplied.
Centre Manager Erin has been working in the Early Childhood Sector for the past three and a half years. Having always had a passion for children’s education, Erin first received her University Degree in Primary teaching and fell in love with Early Childhood while studying her Masters. Working with children and watching them develop and achieve their milestones continues to motivate and drive her passion.
“I love Young Academics philosophy, operating on the ideology that children come first. Everyone is supportive of one another, and our families make a lifelong bond.
Being a smaller centre, the children can create a strong relationship with the Educators creating a family feel.”
