I teach the Happy Feet Fitness program at Young Academics Marylands, and it’s one of the highlights of my week!Kalpana leads the centre with so much professionalism, warmth and genuine care. My son has gone from nursery to preschool at this centre, and we’ve loved every step. I especially want to mention Maya — she’s been there forever and is always her bubbly, kind self.Now my daughter is attending, and she’s settled in so quickly. She absolutely loves it! I have no stress dropping my kids off; I always feel relaxed and have no worries.Kalpana, the Centre Manager, is amazing. I’ve known this centre to have managers come and go, but it looks like they’ve finally found the right fit. Kalpana is truly wonderful and they’re lucky to have her at the centre.

They are amazing my baby enjoy her time at their centre and they take good care of babies food nutritions and hygiene more importantly they love the kids they love their job I could see the love and care in the faces of my baby birthday they made her a cake and celebrated her birthday with the other kids Thanks to Pascal and Maya for putting everything together and the Centre manger we were happy paying for the cake but they did not charge us which was nice and they do the same for all their kids. Thanks to all the other educators 🌹❤️💐😘

Young Academics and their team have been an absolute blessing for our family! This is a wonderful centre with amazing educators, and each of them contribute something unique and special.Daily activities are well balanced with learning and playing, and my daughter always comes home delighted to share the fun and accomplishments of her day.Collaboration between the centre staff and us, as parents, has been a smooth experience, as educators would help to continue implementing new routines or developmental milestones, such as toilet training, during daycare hours.

I can't begin to express how much I appreciate all the staff at YA Merrylands. Everyone is so amazing and passionate. All the educators strive to help each child achieve milestones and be the best version of themselves. A special shout out to Maya for helping my two boys for over 3 years now. Maya is special and a big asset to YA. There is a reason she is a favourite with all the children. Overall YA Merrylands is a place where your kids will feel safe, strive, and create great memories whilst having fun with their friends.

I appreciate all the YA Merrylands Team for the love and care towards my toddler and with keeping us up-to-date. He attends twice a week and is usually the first kid there, so mornings are a little daunting for him but Maya is always warm and welcoming which puts him at ease quickly. My partner does the late afternoon pickup and he enjoys hearing about our kid’s day from the Team (in particular from Pascale) so it’s very re-assuring that Son is in good hands. We are grateful

Normally doesn’t give 5 stars to anyone but I was impressed with this centre. They look after the kids very good and have many activities to entertain and learning process for the kids. Big kudos to Miss Maya, she is wonderful person and very good with kids. My daughter loves her a lot and feels at home. I have no stress when Miss Maya is around and sorry to the other educators I don’t know you sorry if I didnt mention your name but you all are doing a great job and I am very grateful to you all. My daughter and son really enjoys their time at Young Academics! they look forward to it.The educators at Young Academics Merrylands centre are truly amazing. They provide a safe and freindly environment for my children. The are patient, kind and knowledgeable, and they genuinely care about the development of our children. The centre is always kept very neat, tidy and organised. I have complete trust in the educators and feel confident that my children are in a safe and secured environment.The centre uses a phone app to keep parents informed about the safety of their chiild's and regular update on daily actitvities. For a working parent like myself this is gives me the greatest peace of mind just knowing that my children are in safe hands and I have the app to track the progress and day to day activity of my children.I highly recommend this child care Centre to any parent looking for quality care for their child.

I explored around 8 childcare centers across Merrylands and its surrounding suburbs before finalizing one for my child, and I am content with my choice of selecting Young Academics Merrylands center for him. It is a centralized facility where the relevant educators are onboard. They are well-informed about my child's needs and I don't have to repeat his needs to educators separately. I believe, this efficiency of the center would not have been possible without the presence of a mindful manager, and Miss Kalpana is doing a tremendous job in this regard. She is deeply rooted and engaged with the progress of my child and she helped in making the transition smooth for him. I am beyond impressed with Miss Sandhya, Miss Michella and Miss Maya's dedication to giving my child their utmost best and because of my interaction with them and my child's happy state of mind, I am satisfied that my child is in safe and caring hands.

My son has attended the centre for over 2 years and my daughter has recently commenced.All the room leaders and teachers are lovely and truly care about your children. They work with you as the parent to determine care needs for your children and work on any problems together. There has now been consistent staffing and the centre manager and assistant centre manager have done a great job with communication around the teachers, activities, policies and regular updates.The enrolments manager who also looks after the centre is wonderful and very supportive.Even the parents and children who attend the centre are kind and personable!Would highly recommend this centre.

My son started at YA a month ago and I’m so happy with Centre. The educators are absolutely wonderful! Maya, Pascale, Rebika and the rest of the team show so much warmth, care and dedication to the children, especially with those who are new to daycare and adjusting to the transition. My son now doesn’t want to leave at pick up time! He has so much fun and loves sitting on Miss Maya’s lap! He has shown a lot of growth and development in this short time and he just loves the educators. Big thanks to you all for being so awesome and making Eli feel so welcome and at home with the YA team. Much love!

My kids have been at the this centre for the past 18 months and they love it. Every morning my son is welcomed by Miss Maya who makes him feel like he's at home. My son has unusual food allergies which had been tough for me but Miss Maya, Miss Kellee and the other educators have made sure my son is safe and Miss Kellee has transitioned him to eating with his peers, which has been amazing for my son. Small centre with amazing educators.

I have complete peace of mind when my children are with the YA team. I know they will be active, happy, eat well, sleep well and learn a lot, every day - from numbers and colours and songs to manners and how to share and respect each other. YA regularly posts photos of the children's activities on Kinderloop so we can see what they have been doing and learning. Claudia and her team at YA Merrylands are friendly,fun and passionate about childcare. My children have thrived and are always so happy to attend daycare.

Young Academics Merrylands supports families in accessing the Australian Government’s Child Care Subsidy (CCS), helping make childcare more affordable. Our team provides clear, practical guidance so you can understand your eligibility and maximise your entitlements.
At Merrylands, learning is shaped around each child’s interests and daily experiences. Educators create engaging, hands-on opportunities through play, nature and collaboration, helping children build confidence, curiosity and a strong connection to learning.
