YA Canterbury,I honestly couldn't have asked for a better placement. From my very first day, everyone made me feel so welcome and part of the team. The staff Louisa, Tanya, Julia and Emilia were incredibly kind, supportive and always happy to share their knowledge and encourage me every step of the way. They took the time to help me learn, reflect and build my confidence, while making the whole experience enjoyable. I'm so grateful for everything they taught me and for making my placement such a positive and memorable experience. My son LOVES going to school. At 2.5 yrs old, he is comfortable and safe with his carers, he is challenged and given opportunities to grow and discover through play and experiences that are specifically designed for him and his peers. Highly recommend this child care centre. Extremely helpful and staff members, educators are supportive, loving and caring, curriculum is very engaging, in-house chef making fresh meals and also the communication is pretty consistent through the app. Love everything about them :)

My almost 4 year old daughter has been going here since she was 7 months old and from day one we have had so much confidence in the staff and the centre. I never have to worry about her, the girls are attentive and caring and she has learnt so much already. We now stay in the area as we do not want to change daycare centres.

I can't recommend this childcare center enough! My daughter absolutely loved her time here, and I can see why. The teachers were caring, attentive, and created a nurturing environment for the children. It was such a relief to know that she was in good hands every day. Thank you to the amazing staff for all that you do! The facility was clean, organized, and filled with engaging activities for the kids. I was always impressed by the level of care and attention to detail provided. Thank you to the dedicated staff for creating such a fantastic environment for children to learn and grow. Special mention to Miss Jackie, Miss Karolien, Miss Christine, Miss Stephanie , Miss Vanita , Miss Rachael , Miss Liz and Miss Jade! To be honest the list is endless with the great ladies that work here. Miss Louisa changed the centre for the better when she came and was always responsive and helpful as a manager , Thanks for helping Justine get to where she is today ladies. Extra Thank you to Miss Jackie for the extra love care and support and always going above and beyond! Miss Jackie was the main reason I kept my child in this centre. Highly reccomend this daycare

My son started preschool for 2 years in this Center. He was so happy and enjoyed. Depends to other perschool, they teach a lot of different things for kids. He loves his teacher Ms Jacky. She’s very nice, kind and lovely. I tried three different child centres. This is the only one I recommend. This is the only one I recommend. Thank you for all teachers☺️ Thank you for all teachers

My daughter attended YA - Canterbury since 2021. Started in the nursery class and moved up to the junior preschool room. The staff have always been so amazing with her. She has learned so much during her time there and always comes home happy. The staff are always able to greet all the kids and their families by name and there is a real sense of family and community within the centre. The director Louisa is warm and friendly and each and every educator goes above and beyond for the kids. Would give ten stars if I could.

The educators at Young Academics are the most caring, kind and intuitive people that you could ever hope to take care of your child. My daughter started daycare when she was 10 months old, and over the last almost two years has grown into the confident, chatty little girl that she is now with the help of the staff. They really took the time to get to know her and provide her with the tools she needed to come out of her shell.The staff know all the children by name even if they aren't in that educator's room, and go above and beyond to make sure that each child feels valued.With all the daycare horror stories out there, I feel so lucky that we found Young Academics Canterbury - a place where I truly trust that the educators put the children and their wellbeing first.

We are really satisfied with our child's overall growth here. We have seen immense improvement in her as we had really bad experience from another child care. And it was very tough for us to trust a new 1. But we are so happy that putting our child in Young Academics was our best decision..I must say all the educators of young academics are so nice ,humble and professional, especially Ms Louisa and Ms Vanita they both really helped our child to settle in the centre in every way. A big shout out to the whole staff of Young Academics.. 👍

This childcare is very loud, I don't recommend living in this building at all. Be aware. Neighbours slam their doors at 6am, there's domestic violence just beside my apartment.

Young Academics Canterbury has really helped in supporting my twin children’s growth and development in the nursery. Staff have been so comforting in keeping me posted with updates and how their day is going in regards to sleep time, feeding and activities they participate in. The centre manager is very approachable and professional in her position. Would definitely recommend to any mother who’s going back to work and needs a refreshing and educational place to keep their child!

Over the past few years, I have attempted to get my child into a centre that could benefit his growth and development. My experiences haven’t been the greatest, but just a few months ago, I stumbled across young academics Canterbury and I must say, it was the greatest decision I could make for my child’s future. The environment in the centre is very warm, approachable and friendly. The centre manager took me and my family on an explicit tour around the centre, ensuring I understood every aspect that my son will experience during his stay here. The education program was easy to understand and showed a lot of consistency. The educators are very welcoming every morning and have made my son so excited and eager to get to class everyday! During dinner time, my son is so happy to share his learning experiences, arts and crafts and the new letters/Numbers he’s learnt for the week. He also loves to share with me the yummy and nutritious food he’s had that day. Communication is key for me, as I struggled to accept going back to work and leaving my child in the care of others, however the constant updates during the day and the ability to call whenever I feel the need to has been a reassuring and calming experience for me and my family. This centre is definitely a hit for my family and I and I would no doubt, recommend it to my friends and family.

Sending your first born child to childcare can be really difficult but all the girls at Young Academics in Canterbury have made it so easy for me! I know that when I drop my daughter off she is in very good hands. They genuinely care for the children and take the time to really get to know them. Apart from providing a safe and happy place for all children, they also provide a diverse learning curriculum that caters to all young individuals! Could not be more pleased with YA Canterbury. The team lead by Emma are such professionals and so warm with the kids. Any issues we've had have been addressed promptly and the centre is very open to feedback.You know you're onto a good place when you're toddler is jumping up and down to go in the morning and happy at pick up too!

YA Canterbury is an amazing centre. The children get to experience different things, from arts and crafts to simple exercises to preparing and making pancakes. The colourful outdoor play area with the sandpit and cubby house is a big plus. And the staff are wonderful to the kids. This centre is highly recommended

Our daughter absolutely loves her daycare day's. She gets so excited and is upset if I'm running late. They have a great app called KinderloopPlus which allows them to send photo's and little stories of what our daughter is up to throughout the day. We are so glad we chose this Centre and I bet you will love it too!

The Canterbury centre is fantastic! The set up and design of the facility is excellent and the outside play area is kid heaven! The staff led by Ivana are amazing - friendly, helpful and super engaged. They take the time to get to know you, your child and your normal routine and try follow it as much as possible. They really go the extra mile to help your child settle in and it's awesome when you can leave knowing your child is in excellent hands and is going to have a great day! Also Sarah in enrollments is an absolute legend she makes the whole process a breeze!!

All educators hold a current Working With Children Check, complete mandatory Child Protection training, and are supported by our dedicated Child Safety Ambassador.
