As a new parent its so hard to be parted from your child when you gotta go to work and leave the little ones behind. All the staff here makes our lives a bit easier as you know they're in safe hands. My daughter started with nursery with miss farzana, miss jess and miss amandeep and now shes transitioning into toddlers group with miss kadie, miss jasmine, miss rebekha and miss Annabel (apologies if I forgot any names or misspelt them). Everyone has been so kind and loving to our daughter. My mate (Tash) suggested it as her kids go there and I have never once regretted the decision of putting my child there. Once again, a big thank you to all the staff!! Highly recommend daycare!

I recently had a tour of the childcare centre in Smeaton Grange and I had such a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, the centre felt warm, welcoming, and very well organised. The environment was clean, engaging, and clearly designed to make children feel comfortable and supported.The centre manager, Chantelle, was absolutely amazing. She took the time to explain everything in detail, answered all of my questions, and made the entire process feel easy and reassuring. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for the children really stood out. You can tell she is passionate about what she does and about creating a nurturing space for families.After the tour, I truly felt confident that my son would be in a safe, loving, and supportive environment. It gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing he would be surrounded by caring educators who prioritise the wellbeing and development of the children.Thank you to Chantelle and the team for such a positive and welcoming experience. I recently toured Young Academics Smeaton Grange and was incredibly impressed by the warmth, professionalism, and care shown by the staff. The centre had such a welcoming atmosphere, and the environment felt safe, clean, and thoughtfully set up for little learners.The educators in the 2 Room, where my son Odin will be attending, were so lovely — kind, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing that he’ll be in such nurturing hands.The whole experience made me feel confident that this is the right place for Odin. The Young Academics team in Smeaton Grange are absolutely amazing. Sending my first child to Day Care has been hard, but the team have been so thoughtful with calling and providing updates that he is OK as well as taking as many calls as needed from myself. They have worked on creating a wonderful bond, which has now seen my little boy enjoying the thoughtful, developmental activities as well as feeling safe to self play. The team, have taken the time to get to know my son and I and it has made a huge difference in my son's experience of Day Care. THANK YOU Team! You're amazing

We had the best experience walking into young Academy Gregory Hills. The staff was lovely the equipment New and updated and there is a lot of learning tools. The play equipment outside is planned and mapped out spaciously. They even have quiet yoga after lunch because they know the kids need downtime too. The toilets are beautiful and they are on the right track with learning to get into big school.We signed up immediately and I wish I signed you up earlier

Absolutely amazing centre, from the modern up-to-date well kept environment, amazing play spaces to the educators and staff members, YA smeaton grange is phenomenal. My daughter has learnt so much, built wonderful relationship with teachers and peers, and honestly most days doesn’t want to leave. The variety of rooms allows children to learn in a way that suits their age and abilities. The vibrancy, variety and rotation of toys allows kids to be excited with an abundance of activities to do not to mention how much space they have in their classrooms to do so. The backyard play space is one of the biggest and best I’ve seen in the area. Everything in the centre is well kept and maintained to ensure safety, The staff at YA go above and beyond to make the child/ren and parents feel welcome, happy, safe, supported. In the toddler 2 room the staff have played a wonderful roll in encouraging and supporting my 2.5 through potting training. I cannot fault this centre.

We have only been attending Smeaton Grange for a few short weeks but we have been absolutely blown away by the team at YA.The entire team has been so welcoming to our beautiful children and have spent so much time getting to know them and their individual needs.Our son comes home talking about the fun activities and experiences, while his sisters have learnt so many new words.It really has become our children’s home away from home. We are so thankful for everything that the team do and would absolutely recommend anyone looking for care to check out this beautiful centre.

The educators here are awesome! As a first time mum returning to work the staff made me feel at ease from day 1, I knew my son was in the best care. He is always so excited to go to nursery. I like that I can keep track of his food in take, naps and bottles all through their app and each day they will post a summary of the activites the children did for the day. They are a nut and egg-free centre which I love as my son is allergic and will cater to all dietary requirements. What is also amazing is the diversity and inclusivity at the centre. They acknowledge special days and cultural holidays and will respect the values of the parents if it does not align.I am very happy with the care and the development of my son and would highly recommend this centre.

My son has been absolutely thrilled with attending since he started at young academics. The staff are fantastic, super supportive, and always keep in touch with how his day has been. I feel completely comfortable leaving him in their care.One of the best things about this place is that I can easily check in on him anytime I want. I just download the app and see what he’s been up to and how his food intake has been. It’s so convenient!I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great childcare option. It’s a wonderful place to leave your kids, and I’m so glad my son is a part of it.

The girls here are amazing, I felt at ease from the very beginning when it came to putting my son into childcare for the first time. They have such a warm and welcoming vibe and not only was my son OBSESSED with going to kindy, but his development sky rocketed since starting at this centre. With constant updates and photos through the app I really felt like I was never left wondering how he was doing throughout any given day. Love our experience and highly recommend

Our daughter has gone here for 5 months now and this place is really Amazing ..!! She wasn't feeling good in the previous childcare but since enrolling here, she is HAPPY and constantly learning new things. The meal plan is well thought out and nutritious. The educators are warm and kind and are very passionate about working with children. Finding the right childcare was so important to us and we are really happy with our choice. It’s been amazing as a first time mum starting at this Smeaton Grange centreMy son has been given the tools needed for him to excel in his personal developmentThe educators in the nursery are amazing, they communicate what he’s done throughout the day and if he needs anything worked on at home. The director is understanding and approachable as all queries I have or ask have been meet with the best information they can give, even if it’s information I need to be done at home. The newly revamped facilities are awesome and I love how all the rooms just flow into each other. I look forward to seeing my son excel and learn from this centre.

Since joining this centre, the educators have been so welcoming and eager to understand how they can support and foster care for our little one. Every time I drop her off she’s smiling and clapping hands in excitement, so I know she’s going to have a great day! I enrolled my baby girl at YA after the re-opening of the centre. All the staff have been welcoming and supportive from the beginning. They are always willing to listen, follow my daughters schedule and attend to her needs as best as they can. The centre is amazing at seeking feedback and including family input when planning experiences at the centre. A special thanks to CJ, the babies room leader for being amazing with my daughter and building a relationship to ensure she feels comfortable and cared for while at the centre.

Great find for our 1.5year old daughter. Educators are well trained and they take very good care of the children.Most importantly the child/educator ratio is just perfect to give me a piece of mind when I leave my angel to them.I will give a 9/10 to them keeping a little room for improvement as always.

This centre is the best!!!!The staff are like no other!Honestly I am so glad I have my baby with them. They listen to my thoughts and opinions, they’re attentive to my baby and they are always holding themselves and their centre to the highest standards.These people are not only valuable educators but they treat us like family.My son can’t speak yet but he runs in there every day so happy to be there and they always meet him with matched energy and enthusiasm.I highly, HIGHLY recommend the Smeaton Grange Centre. They are an absolute testament to the business as a whole.

I’ve been so pleased with sending my kids to YA Center . The staff have definitely made them feel so comfortable and excited to attend each day. With having two children in two different age rooms, I get to experience the care and attention the educators give to children at different ages. The educators enjoy having my children at the centre and makes it easier to drop my children at the centre every day.

Young academics Smeaton Grange have been amazing. We have specific dietary requirements for our child that aren’t always easy to fulfill and they have always done everything that they can to help meet them. On top of that our little one is always happy to enter the centre and settled in very well making good relationships with the educators and other children. Young Academics Smeaton Grange have been outstanding from their enrollments team to their educators, Across the board they are exceptionally well organized, kind and engaged in my child's needs.This newly re-opened center at Smeaton Grange is clean, modern and vibrant. I like how the facility is well thought of, rooms separated to keep the ages apart, but structured so that the teachers are able to help each other out.My soon to be 6 month old grandson has been enrolled here for around a month now and we absolutely love it. They are very flexible and have great hours. I can see the growth and learning every day! All of the educators are always smiling and welcoming when you walk in the doors, And best of all, the children seem very happy as well.When I see my grandson interact with the other kids, they are attentive and share toys with him and give him hugs whenever he comes and goes. It’s very nice to know that he is in a caring environment while he isn’t home.I love this place and so does my grandson. As a grandparent I really appreciate the staff being so flexible and caring, and the Director of center really cares about the children and works with the parents. I’m grateful for their hours as well, a facility opened for 11 hours really helps especially since not everyone works a 9-5 job.

This is the second childcare centre my son has attended, from the start at the open day we were blown away from not only the look of the centre but also how the educators presented themselves.The educators at this centre have been amazing with their communication, the activities the children do, are easily approachable and are helpful with strategies to help the children.Our last centre was another well known centre and we left feeling disheartened about the treatment our child received there, he was never happy and kept to himself. But when we got him into young academics he was so excited and happy to go after the first few weeks. He has came out of his shell and doing so much more at this centre even starting talking to the educators and peers then the last childcare, so we love it there and planning on enrolling our youngest.It was the best decision we made towardsend of last year.

I have a now 19 month old who started attending this centre in January 2024. As anywhere, the first week is always the hardest for them with new routines and environment.My child was able to attend the orientation days that were allocated to them and I feel that this time spent with the educators and in the room helped with the first week of daycare. Now, my child has made this centre a second home, a place that she feels safe and has built great connections with the educators in her room. Since commencing at this centre, my child has shown new skills that have been taught to her throughout her day.As a parent, I am impressed with the communication that is provided by the team and daily updates on the app that they use. They encourage the parents to be involved in the goals for children that they want to achieve and to provide feedback on it.
