Nestled in a quiet, family-friendly pocket of Western Sydney, Young Academics Cambridge Park offers a boutique early learning environment designed for children aged six weeks to five years. With just three classrooms and the capacity to welcome up to 39 children, this centre provides a warm, personalised experience where every child is known, supported and celebrated.
At Young Academics Cambridge Park, children thrive in a close-knit community that balances stimulating educational experiences with sensory exploration, social connection, and outdoor play. Our comprehensive curriculum is designed to support intellectual, emotional and social development through hands-on learning, collaborative activities, and guided discovery.
Shared outdoor yards for our Preschool and Toddler rooms encourage safe exploration and social development in the early years. Our Nursery has a dedicated outdoor spaces tailored to their age and developmental stage.
Healthy eating habits are cultivated from a young age. At Young Academics, we provide nutritious, balanced meals and snacks prepared on site. Our menus are carefully curated to offer a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains and protein. We accommodate dietary restrictions and work closely with families to ensure every child’s individual needs are met.
All nappies and wipes are included. Cot linen provided (excludes stretcher bed linen).

Sonia was drawn to a career in early childhood education with a strong passion for making a difference in young children’s early learning experiences. She believes that the first 5 years of a child’s education are crucial and that children should be nurtured to help them grow into confident, capable individuals who can confidently step out into the world. Sonia loves the individuality of each child and the different ways they learn. Sonia enjoys the fact that while the staff teach the children, the children also teach the staff in return. It’s a shared journey of discovery and learning for both staff and children.
With over 20 years of experience in the early learning sector, Sonia’s career began with her role as a Trainee. She progressed in her career by completing her Diploma and becoming a Room Leader, where she worked with all age groups. Over the years, Sonia developed further skills through training in and Assistant Manager role and taking on roles as acting Nominated Supervisor and eventually Centre Manager. Sonia has remained as a Centre Manager for 7 years. She holds a Diploma in Children’s Services and Early Learning and is currently studying for her Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching.
Sonia has also completed numerous courses on child protection and risk management, as well as Red Nose training. Her vision for the centre is to create a space that feels like a second home to the community and to make the Cambridge Park centre a household name. She strives to empower children and families to reach their full potential by building stronger and more meaningful connections within the community. Sonia believes that through quality care and practices, the centre can foster growth and create a strong, collaborative culture.
As a leader, Sonia aims to cultivate a positive, nurturing atmosphere for both children and staff. She works to ensure the environment is warm and welcoming, while also prioritising staff wellbeing and supporting the needs of families. Sonia encourages positive interactions, collaboration, and a sense of connection among the team and the families they serve.
