Science is getting plenty of time in the media spotlight these days as a key area for jobs of the future, and while career choices are a little way off for the children at Young Academics, there is no harm in helping a child develop an interest in science from a young age.
This month we celebrate National Science Week, so we’re focusing on fun, hands-on science activities to engage the children across our centres. Some great ideas include science stations for indoor activities, as well as learning about the life cycles of animals and plants in our outdoor environments and vegetable gardens.
Plus, we’re in the process of launching our new S.T.E.A.M (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) workshops across all of our centres.
