About Elderslie childcare centre
Located in a quiet residential area, our multi-levelled Elderslie centre consists of a range of resource-rich environments that cater to children aged between 6 weeks and 6 years. Each of our six classrooms provides a nurturing, stimulating and safe space for learning.
Children are actively engaged through our resources and activities, such as puzzles, reading, music, art, STEM and more. The outdoor area features a worm farm, vegetable garden, sandpit, cubby house and dwarf citrus trees, allowing for maximum hands-on experience. The mix of undercover and open-air spaces create a welcoming environment for outdoor play in any weather.
Through our Evolution and Transition to School programs, our educators at Elderslie are supportive of individual capabilities and use our facilities to enhance children’s problem solving and critical thinking.

I was quite apprehensive to change from family day care to a centre-based day care, but the staff at YA Elderslie have put all my concerns to rest. My 17 month old son has the best time there and the staff genuinely care for the children. Photos I receive on the Kinderloop app just make my day. My son’s talking has gone through the roof since starting also! Its obvious that the staff really interact with the children. I am so happy and comfortable to leave my son with these amazing people
From the moment I walked into Young Academics Elderslie I knew we were meant to be here. The teachers go out of their way to greet each child and parent and make them feel special. I have 3 children attending YA Elderslie and each in different rooms. The quality of care we receive from each educator exceeds any place we have been to. We have been to three different child cares over 5 years and YA Elderslie is superior to all. Nothing is too much trouble for the centre manager Leanne, and everyone above has been amazing too (Kristy, Alison and Vanessa). My children enjoy the tasty and healthy menu, the large variety of arts and crafts, the learning experiences offered and the very exciting and engaging outdoors. My children look forward to going to "school" and no tears to attend. Thank you YA Elderslie you have been a wonderful asset to my children's learning.

The centre director and all the staff are friendly/welcoming and supportive of each other creating a positive culture and atmosphere. This is very important to me having a centre which is warm and inviting. They always greet me and have time to chat. Staff in the baby room are very nurturing and maternal. The kinderloop app the centre uses to communicate is great.
I'm very happy I chose YA, the centre is always a clean and calm environment. I feel reassured leaving my baby in their care, I know her teachers understand her and her needs.
I am absolutely so impressed by the centre here in Elderslie.
The communication, professionalism and down to earth approach from the ladies here in this centre is such a breath of fresh air. The general atmosphere is really calming and relaxing which is great for all the children & parents. It's great to know we have such a quality standard of care in a child centre here in the area.
