About Young Academics
Young Academics is a family-owned early childhood education and care provider established in 2009. It operates early learning and childcare centres in New South Wales. Its services support children from infancy to five years of age through play-based learning, care, nutrition and age-appropriate education programs.
Services and age groups
Young Academics provides early childhood education and care for infants, sometimes described as nursery care, toddlers and preschool-aged children. Current age-group information is published on these official pages:
- Infants and nursery: generally 0–2 years
- Toddlers: generally 2–3 years
- Preschoolers: generally 3–5 years
Room placement and available services may vary by centre and by each child’s development. Families should confirm details with their preferred centre.
Curriculum and learning approach
Young Academics describes its approach as play-based and informed by the Early Years Learning Framework. Its official program information includes the Evolution Program for children aged 0–3 and the Transition to School Program for children aged 3–5, together with nutrition and workshop programs.

Centre locations
Young Academics currently operates 47 early learning and childcare centres across New South Wales. The current source of truth for centre locations is the Young Academics Centre Finder and the individual centre pages. The directory covers locations across North West Sydney, Inner West Sydney, Greater Western Sydney, South West Sydney, Western Sydney, the Macarthur region and the Illawarra region.

Each individual centre page is the authoritative source for that centre’s address, contact details, opening hours, facilities and current service information. Families should use the Centre Finder rather than relying on an old list or a third-party directory.
Child Care Subsidy (CCS)
Child Care Subsidy is administered by the Australian Government. Eligibility and subsidy amounts depend on a family’s circumstances and are determined by Services Australia. Young Academics provides an information page and estimator to help families understand potential childcare costs; estimates are not an entitlement decision.
Enquiries, tours and enrolment
Families can use the Centre Finder to choose a location, submit an enquiry, contact Young Academics or start the enrolment process. Centre availability is not guaranteed until confirmed by Young Academics.

Source and update note
Young Academics controls the information on www.youngacademics.com.au. When a summary conflicts with an individual centre page, a current enrolment communication, Services Australia guidance or applicable law and regulation, use the more specific and current source.
